This Week At The Drugstore

drugstore 12-20

Can anyone believe we are just days away from Christmas? I only need to survive three days at of work this week and then the company closes until New Years so 11 day weekend here I come! Hence, I may not post as much or at all during those days as I will be in my hometown relaxing, seeing old friends, and probably be wearing shorts and a t-shirt. California amirite? But first, my Sunday post. Spoiler: great week for mall sales.

Kiehl's Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Reparative Pak

Starting with a mouthful: the Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Reparative Pak, plus a bunch of samples of other hair masks. I went into Kiehl’s to pick up my mom’s birthday present and had a coupon that dropped the price down on this, way down. Originally $25, I paid $5 for it and at that price I won’t be horribly upset if it doesn’t repair my hair. Also, expect a rant post about my hair soon.

aztec healing clay

Speaking of practically free, I finally got my hands on the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay! This product I ordered through Amazon as I had a coupon that allowed me to throw this into my order and pay zero percent of the $7.50 price tag. I have heard so much about this, I can’t wait to try it and see what wonders it does for my skin!

drugstore 12-20-4

Target’s Cartwheel app had a coupon for 20% off Rimmel products and I miraculously found my favorite mascara yet again, their Glam’Eyes Mascara. It was on clearance for $4.47 and I found out that Cartwheel coupons do not apply to clearance items. Good to know. Then I hopped over to Ulta as I finally received my 20% coupon from them and picked up the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Radiant Lights. Originally priced at $6. I actually wanted a pricier item but I held because…

I kind of went all out at Bath & Body Works. In my defense all their body care items were only $5 each and that never happens! I picked up the Pink Chiffon Body Lotion to accompany the wash I bought a while ago, an Ultra Shea Body Cream in Sweet Pea for my purse for spring and the following Body Mists:

  • Cashmere Glow
  • Sweet Pea
  • Paris Amour
  • A Thousand Wishes
  • French Lavender and Honey

For $1 I added the tiny Santa hat, I mean, to quote Sheldon Cooper: “What is life without a little whimsy?” And another free item, the gorgeous gold and rhinestone sleeve for the body mists. Normally $9.50. And to defend myself, I had their $10 off a $30 purchase coupons which I used two of to make this haul possible (and hurt my wallet a little less). I know it seems excessive but body mists are normally $14 each and this was such a good deal and with my coupons how could I not?!

mauve over

Lastly, the Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick in Mauve Over. These were on sale for $1 at Rite Aid the previous week and this shade just about rounds up my collection of this line, or at least the shades I wanted out of it.

The candle I’ve had but it is so cute I wanted to include it haha. I’m not going to make a post about my candle haul, but I got this guy a few weeks back when Bath & Body Works was having their annual $8.50 candle sale.

And I am hoping this is my last Sunday post of the year. With my holiday break coming up I am expecting to to spend time with my friends at home rather than spending money on cosmetics. And maybe rearranging my makeup budget to accommodate some margaritas at my favorite restaurant haha. What do you have planned for the holidays?
