Do I even need to explain myself at this point? Unless you haven’t checked Instagram, YouTube, beauty forums, or beauty blogs in the last couple of months then surely you have heard of the Nivea Men Post Shave Balm and its use as a makeup primer. It sounds crazy yes, but when this idea began to gain traction late last year I decided to jump on the bandwagon. I have been using this for about two months now and finally remembered to jot down my experience. Continue reading
A year after my introduction to contouring I think I finally got the hang of it and found the perfect product to boot. Among all of the contouring palettes and products hitting the drugstore last month, the Wet n Wild Megaglo Contour Palette is the one I picked up to test. Its affordability was a deciding factor but I could tell it was going to be good just from looking at it. Continue reading
If you follow my blog or just browse it, you know that I am a massive fan of BH Cosmetics, so when they came out with their Nude Rose 12 Color Eyesahdow Palette some months back I had to have it. Yet it took me months to give it a serious try, I did not want to ruin such a pretty palette! But that is just silly and I finally gave it a good go and here is what I think of it. Continue reading
My hair is currently 75% Batiste, I have spent the weekend at the office, and I could not be more greatful for this stuff!
That said, I might not be able to prepare posts for the week because I also have to prepare to visit my best friend next weekend!
But I will try, this blog keeps me sane sometimes 🙂
We have all seen the green clay masks, and we have all heard the pulsating claims. And if you haven’t then here you go. The Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay is a cult beauty favorite that is not sold in stores, not that I know of, that I finally remembered to order from Amazon back in December. I have been using it for over a month and I am now a believer. Continue reading
Don’t you just hate products with an unnecessarily long name? The Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Trio are precisely that and let me tell you, the long name has to be a ploy to distract you from the cruddy performance of said product. Continue reading
One year after its launch, or at least since it took over YouTube, the L’Oréal Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation has finally made its way into my makeup bag. And it is never leaving. This is a product that has me kicking myself for not joining the fan club sooner and on the verge of buying a lifetime supply. Continue reading
In the past I have been critical of my IPSY Glam Bags, sure it is only $10 a month but I feel that they over promise and under deliver more often than not. February is the exception because I am head over heels with my glam bag. After six months as a subscriber, I have finally received a bag that has me jumping for joy so let’s just jump in.
When this lip pencil arrived in an Ipsy bag back in November I thought, “Good job sending me a lipstick without the cap guys.” My second thought asked who or what this brand was, I had never heard of them. My third thought hoped that there wasn’t red lipstick all over the inside of the cute Ipsy bag. Safe to say I was not impressed, but there is a reason we don’t always go by first impressions. Continue reading
Today I want to take it way back to one of my first, if not my very first, highlighters. Many say this is a drugstore dupe for Benefit’s Highbeam, having not cared for my sample of it years ago I will let you be the judge of that. After rediscovering it, and these pictures, last week I figured it was time to share this little hidden treasure. Continue reading
