Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Golden Lights

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Golden Lights

Today I have another highlighter to talk about, and it is another one from Makeup Revolution. This is a quick one as it is another one of their Vivid Baked Highlighters, I reviewed another one here. Although they are the same product in different shades I find them to be quite different, different enough to merit Golden Lights its own post.

The reason I didn’t put these together in a post is that though they are the same product, it feels like they are barely related. Packaging and optics are the same so I won’t go into that, let’s jump in straight to the point which is, Golden Lights is much better than Radiant Lights.

Strangely the texture of these highlighters is the same, though this one doesn’t feel as dry, still rough to the touch, and Golden Lights gives off more product. A brush or finger will instantly pick up more product with this highlighter than with Radiant Lights, a lot more. Look at the finger swatch, completely opaque.

Based on effort required, I prefer Golden Lights already.

It may look a creamy white in the pan but this is a gold highlighter, very very gold. It reminds me of E.L.F.’s Gotta Glow but more intense and sans glitter. This highlighter is so pigmented and gives off so much product that it builds very fast, if you’re not careful you will end up looking like an Instagram makeup meme and nobody wants that.

The wear time for this is pretty good, better than Radiant Lights and more like Gotta Glow. Overall for $6, this is one of the better drugstore highlighters available.

Bis gleich and don’t forget to follow!
