Ulta 2x Points Haul

Ulta 2x point haul

Ulta just ended another round of their double points days and of course I picked up a few things. Not to self: make a shopping list to make the most of this event. There is an Ulta a block away from my office for which I am very grateful, these days I try to get most things at Ulta because their reward system is great and you can use the $3.50 off $15 coupon multiple times. So let’s see what I picked up.

Pssst dry shampoo, Pacifica underarm wipes, neutropenia healthy skin night cream, eco tools bath brush

Psssst! Dry Shampoo $6.99

Time to try something new. Batiste is still great but I was curious about the Pssst! Dry Shampoo, though there isn’t anything to make it stand out or special it did have great reviews on Ulta’s website. My Ulta only had this original scent and I sort of like that because the Batiste scents can be annoying sometimes.

Pacifica Underarm Deodorant Wipes $9

Apologies for this TMI moment, but there are days when I do nothing therefore don’t want to shower but my underarms need some help. (Also, California is still in a drought.) Or even going to the gym and then meeting up with people, especially since my gym is downtown. Enter the Pacifica Underarm Deodorant Wipes which promise to help in such moments. I’ve heard really good things about these and I have high hopes.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream – Night $15.99

I’ve had my eye on the Neutrogena anti-aging moisturizers for a while so I finally bought one. It is an anti-wrinkle cream with retinol, scary word for me, and I look forward to adding it to my night time routine. I don’t expect to see immediate results and I do think it is a long term investment.

EcoTools Bristle Bath Brush $5.99

Who else neglects their back in the shower? Not on purpose but my arms do not reach that far so I bought a brush to help me out. I should have bought one sooner, after one use and I can definitely feel the difference.

Essence The Gel Nail Polish in Amazed by You 52, Essence Gel waterproof liner

Essence The Gel Nail Polish in Amazed By You $1.99

I have been a fan of Essence nail polish since before this blog. They have a decent selection of colors, a useful brush, and they are very affordable. My current, tiny collection was missing a dark purple and I do appreciate a dark purple.

Essence Gel Eye Pencil Waterproof $2.99

This pencil comes up a lot in forums and I wanted a pencil that wouldn’t transfer everywhere when I tight line. Please live up to the hype!

L'oreal infallible pro matte 105

L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in 105 $12.99

Time for a new foundation as my last one was not only looking orange on me but ran out as well. I went one shade down and it looks much better. Until I find a better foundation in this price range, I will repurchase this forever.

MARIO BADESCU Glycolic Foaming Cleanser

Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser $16

Mario Badescu is very quickly winning me over. I actually bought this last month for myself but when my mom saw it in my shower and seemed impressed I decided to get one for her as well. Personally, I am still not entirely sold on this product but it is nice.

Bis gleich!

  1. Great haul! Looks like a good mix of basics and some pops of fun! 🙂 Essence liners are great – they do live up to the hype for me, and so inexpensive too! We don’t have Ulta here in Canada and I get jealous.

    • Oh no! What do you have? I’m super curious because Canadian bloggers/vloggers always talk about American brands and ordering from American stores but I’m sure ya’ll have some good stuff
