Hi! I’m Allie, a 24-year-old from California and I enjoy long romantic walks down the makeup aisle. But really, I make a beeline for the makeup section when I walk into any store.

I started this blog with the encouragement of my boyfriend when I was living with him in Germany and bored. Since returning to California to work in tech I have kept this blog as my happy place and to satiate my love of makeup. Though I used to be a MAC snob, I now focus on drugstores products which I believe have really come a long way in recent years. Plus, it is fun to check for the best deals every week.

To give some context to my reviews: the last time I went into MAC I was a C3 and have combination normal to oily skin (damn T-zone) and I’m not prone to acne or breakouts.
