Birthday “Haul”

Oakland Athletics wine glasses

Insert a gif of Dr. Evil doing air quotes here. Most people really treat themselves for their birthday and buy the expensive palette on their wishlist, I on the other hand bought a bunch of stuff I’ve been wanting but not really needing. It also helped that Ulta gave me double points all month, was offering 5x points on some products I had an eye on, and their regular double points offer.  Continue reading

Ulta 2x Points Haul

Ulta 2x point haul

Ulta just ended another round of their double points days and of course I picked up a few things. Not to self: make a shopping list to make the most of this event. There is an Ulta a block away from my office for which I am very grateful, these days I try to get most things at Ulta because their reward system is great and you can use the $3.50 off $15 coupon multiple times. So let’s see what I picked up. Continue reading

Germany Haul | Part 2 | Blush and More Blush

Germany Haul

How about that “Oops!” moment when you find a draft you never scheduled or posted? Better late than never I suppose. If you missed part I of my Germany haul, here it is, even if just to look at pretty pictures of makeup.

I hope you like blush because as the title implies, there is a lot of blush in part two of my Germany haul. In fact, I have been thinking of doing a blush declutter as I am now nearing 40 blushes. Don’t judge… However, I also picked up a few neat pieces that are not blush that I am also very excited about!  Continue reading

Germany Haul (with tons of pictures!)

Germany Hau;

I am back! Or rather I have been back and quite busy. Today I have the first part of my Germany haul, some fun products and some boring products but exciting for me all the same as the German drugstore is where I got my start. Surprisingly I did not buy as much as I thought I would which prompted my boyfriend to ask if I had been taken over by an imposter. Anyway, can’t wait to catch up on everyone’s blog and here we go! Happy Birthday To Me! Haul

Birthday Haul-2

Haul posts and shopping in general are things that I am cutting back on, but everyone deserves a little birthday shopping and hauling right? Besides, birthdays are the perfect excuse to treat yourself to things you would not normally splurge on. Surprisingly, even with the intention to splurge I still saved a pretty penny. Even better! $7 CVS Haul? Yes!

7 dollar haul-2

Apologies for the click-baity title,  but it is absolutely true. So far this year I have backed off my “This Week At The Drugstore” Sunday posts because they were redundant and encouraging my shopping addiction but I have to share this. Recently I heard someone complain that CVS is the most expensive of the American drugstores but a little bit of planning and a few lucky coupons one can really score at CVS. See for yourself! This Week At The Drugstore #2

at drugstore 2-5

Two weeks, the last two weeks at the drugstore. In an effort to have more self-control, to save money, and to use more of what I already have, I am cutting back on these posts and trips to the drugstore. Looking at this post I feel that my efforts were somewhat successful but some deals are too good to pass up on!

January Ipsy Glam Bag

January 2015 ipsy glam bag

It is the Ipsy time of the month again! This month however I am going into my glam bag with a positive attitude and not as the negative Nancy I was last month. Whether it is my attitude or the contents of the bag themselves, I finally received a bag that impressed me. Continue reading

Palm Springs Haul

PS Haul

My first Sunday post of the year! And hopefully the only one this month as I am entering a serious no-buy. I was organizing my makeup recently and there is just so much that I still need to try and I would really like to hit pan one something this year hence I’m going on a no-buy (unless  there is something that calls for celebration in the form of a haul). So far so good as this is all pre-New Year shopping I did in Palm Springs.  Continue reading
