Considering that moisturizers are an essential part of skincare and makeup routines you would think that I would have a favorite by now. I’ve tried Neutrogena, Boots, Mario Badescu, and while I have repurchased those it was more out of laziness than devotion. I have been using the e.l.f. Daily Hydration Moisturizer for sometime now, has it earned its place on my shelf though?
I am big fan of Mario Badescu products, so it when I wanted to incorporate vitamin C into my skincare regime I added one from Mario Badescu. This little 1 oz bottle lasted a little over a year and that is plenty of time for me to make up my mind about it, right? Continue reading
Until recently I had accepted that body odor was an undeniable fact of life. Over the years I have tried countless deodorants from the United States to Europe, Suave to Lady Speedstick to Nivea. They would work initially but eventually they would all fail and I would yet again find myself staring at the wall of deodorant at Target. But one day, one day I see a simple white tube with a name I had never heard, Schmidt’s… could Schmidt’s be it? Continue reading
Few things can ruin a good hair day like dandruff. Your is cooperating, it is looking sleek, and then you spot some white flecks near the roots. The more you try to brush them out the more that appear and worse they’re falling all over your cute black blouse.
This has been my life for years but I think I finally found the product to fix this. Continue reading
When micellar waters first hit the American market and grew in popularity I was beside myself with excitement. Then they released variations and I was unsure but curious and decided to try one, the Garnier one for waterproof makeup. At the time I also said I’d start using waterproof makeup hence why I bought it, that did not happen. What did happen was that I hated it, I used it all but I hated it. Continue reading
There are two reasons I am back to blogging. One, I had a box full of empties and I mean full. Two, I had so many empties of tried and true products I feel good again about trying new products. Grab some moscato and get ready to read, or marvel at how many products I have been able to use up since my last empties post at the end of January. Continue reading
If there is a perfect time to write about a product it’s probably when you’ve used it all up. If that is the case then I have some catching up to do… I recently finished a tube of the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti Wrinkle Cream Night and not to give too much away but I don’t see a difference. Not to say that is a bad thing. Continue reading
I think I need to set myself reminders to blog since it’s the end of March and the last time I posted was….The days melt together and I keep finding weekend activities to keep me busy. With the days getting longer and hence better lighting for photos, I hope to be better about it. Fingers crossed.
Sooo, I’ve had this mascara since Christmas and it’s been hiding in my makeup bag ever since. But why? Continue reading
Sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it to to post about “old” products, products that have been in stores for months or years. Maybe. It still gives me sanity so here it goes…
What girly girl wouldn’t want this beautiful blush in their collection? The Milani Rose Powder Blushes have been around for over a while I and I picked up my first one last, last December. It’s been a while but long enough to write about it. Mine is in the shade Tea Rose, Continue reading
This post is uncharted territory for me, even after a year and half of blogging. I have never done an empties post, partly because I am too forgetful and toss everything in the bin and partly because it takes me three months to collect enough bottles for a single post. These are empties from about October to mid-January, for as many products as I have I don’t go through them that fast. Continue reading
