Review | Essence Lash Princess Volume Mascara

ESSENCE Lash Princess Volume Mascara

I think I need to set myself reminders to blog since it’s the end of March and the last time I posted was….The days melt together and I keep finding weekend activities to keep me busy. With the days getting longer and hence better lighting for photos, I hope to be better about it. Fingers crossed.

Sooo, I’ve had this mascara since Christmas and it’s been hiding in my makeup bag ever since. But why? Continue reading

DIY Glitter Makeup Brushes

DIY Glitter Makeup Brushes

Life is better with glitter and I responsibly apply it to every thing I can, including makeup brushes. This year I have seen an increase in girly and cute sets of makeup brushes yet the majority are still plain old black. While I can’t show you how to carve your makeup brushes into unicorn horns, I can show you how to jazz them up for less than a dollar. Continue reading

Day-to-Night Makeup in Vegas

Day-to-Night Makeup in Vegas

I am long, long overdo for a Vegas trip so in lieu of that I am sharing my day-to-night makeup picks. Whether you like shopping, relaxing, food or nightlife, Las Vegas has everything and I never have a bad time. So when I heard about the Vegas.com makeup challenge I got giddy (and sad because I haven’t been in a while). Here is what I came up with. Continue reading

eBay Gold Metal Brushes | RT Bold Metals Collection Dupes

ebay RT gold brushes

Next on my list of posts I need to put up: these Real Techniques makeup brush dupes from eBay. I saw these on Reddit in late November and ordered them the next day as I was in need of makeup brushes and the price could not be beat. While I waited for mine to arrive I saw them popping up on the Instagrams of a couple of my favorite bloggers and even a recommended video on Youtube. They arrived in early December and four months later, here they are on the blog. Continue reading

April Ipsy Bag!

April Ipsy Glam bag 2016

Welcome to what is probably my last Ipsy Glam Bag for a while. In other words, this month’s bag has been the nudge I needed to cancel my Ipsy subscription after five or so months of debating. I am not a fan of their customer service model and when I pulled this bag out of my mailbox the pink envelope was barely sealed! I mean, a tiny sliver of adhesive was keeping the flap glued to the envelope and the rest was open like a clam. Not to say that April’s bag was a complete loss but as a whole Ipsy does not seem worth it to me anymore. Still, here is my April Glam Bag (don’t mind the salt)! E.L.F. Shimmer Powder in Pink

elf shimmer

Today I have yet another product that has been in my collection for months, that I have used plenty of times, and that I have failed to mention on my blog. Even though I mentioned the E.L.F. Shimmer Powder in my February Favorites I keep forgetting to talk about it and to write about this hidden gem of a highlighter. If you’re looking for a good and budget friendly highlighter, you may want to read on.

Hype, Morphe, and Private Labeling

Does anyone else feel as though they can’t go a day without seeing or hearing about the brand Morphe on YouTube or social media? I myself have been curious about their products but have never been able to pull the trigger. Maybe it is the relentless hype train going full speed ahead on YouTube or their horribly disjointed website last time I visited. And then I saw this video from Stephanie Nicole that has been making the rounds on Reddit recently. Whatever your feelings on Morphe, this video is worth the watch for the information and insights she gives on the beauty industry.
