What better way to celebrate moving and a return to blogging than with a haul? It helped that E.L.F. was offering free shipping of course. What began as ordering a new brush turned into, well, a haul of new E.L.F. products plus some freebies. Continue reading
Today I have yet another product that has been in my collection for months, that I have used plenty of times, and that I have failed to mention on my blog. Even though I mentioned the E.L.F. Shimmer Powder in my February Favorites I keep forgetting to talk about it and to write about this hidden gem of a highlighter. If you’re looking for a good and budget friendly highlighter, you may want to read on.
Apologies for the click-baity title, but it is absolutely true. So far this year I have backed off my “This Week At The Drugstore” Sunday posts because they were redundant and encouraging my shopping addiction but I have to share this. Recently I heard someone complain that CVS is the most expensive of the American drugstores but a little bit of planning and a few lucky coupons one can really score at CVS. See for yourself! Continue reading
My first Sunday post of the year! And hopefully the only one this month as I am entering a serious no-buy. I was organizing my makeup recently and there is just so much that I still need to try and I would really like to hit pan one something this year hence I’m going on a no-buy (unless there is something that calls for celebration in the form of a haul). So far so good as this is all pre-New Year shopping I did in Palm Springs. Continue reading
In order to cram in a few more product reviews before doing my October favorites, I have decided to combine two posts into one: my weekly drugstore buys and my latest BH Cosmetics order. Besides, I didn’t buy much this week and what I did buy I am truly excited about. Continue reading
Blush is easily one of my favorite makeup items, my recent makeup count will attest to that, as it allows you to instantly change your look with just a swipe. Easier than eyeshadow, admit it. A dark mauve and you look like autumn, a fresh peachy-pink and you feel like spring, a hot pink and you’re ready to conquer Friday night. Hence blush palettes are becoming my go-to and I go to the E.L.F. Blush Palette most, sort of.
Eyebrows have never been something I slaved over or spent more than a minute on, makeup wise anyway, I could happily spend my evening tweezing and trimming and combing. For the last couple of years I’ve simply been taking a small angled brush to a MAC eyeshadow and using that to fill in my brows. Earlier this month I had a coupon to spend on E.L.F. products and was curious to try their Studio Eyebrow Kit, I couldn’t go wrong with a free product.
Just as I asked myself “where is my money going if not toward makeup?” I answered my own question: clothes. My money has been going toward clothing as of late, my wardrobe was in real need of an update for work and weekends. Not that this is a clothing haul, simply a lead-up to the can’t-pass-’em-up coupons I took advantage of this week. Continue reading
We all know the saying, “You don’t know what you have until it’s gone” and I’m applying it to the product I want to review today. Following my last post I decided it was not fair to destroy the featured product and gently rave about about its competitor and then deny the latter its own post. So here I am, formally raving about the E.L.F. Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer. Continue reading
Happy Sunday! This week I took a step back and tried not to buy anything, mostly due to a slump. Last weekend was bad, the week didn’t start off any better and occasionally I wonder why I even buy so much makeup; when will I use it all up? Then I realize makeup pulls me out of slumps and there’s a big CVS coupon in my purse that needs to be used. Continue reading
