DIY Highlighter Rose

diy highlighter rose

The saying goes “Better late than never!” and late I am with this floral trend. Is it even a trend still? Months back Lancôme introduced their La Rôse Blush Poudre and it was stunning and makeup lovers fawned over it and then they fainted at the price tag of a mere $60. Lancôme was selling a paper flower covered in powdered blush inside a cardboard box that probably isn’t very practical for $60…yeah, no. People quickly made their own, more affordable versions at home and today I am sharing with you how I made my highlighter version of it. Continue reading

March Favorites

We may as well be halfway through April and I just now am able to put up my March favorites. What did I even do all month? Besides celebrating my birthday and lamenting having to pay for my own health insurance… For the first time in a while I have new products to talk about, so that’s exciting, and I also have some oldies but very goodies. Continue reading

Milani Rose Powder Blush in Tea Rose

Milani Rose Powder Brush in Tea Rose

Sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it to to post about “old” products, products that have been in stores for months or years. Maybe. It still gives me sanity so here it goes…

What girly girl wouldn’t want this beautiful blush in their collection? The Milani Rose Powder Blushes have been around for over a while I and I picked up my first one last, last December. It’s been a while but long enough to write about it. Mine is in the shade Tea Rose, Continue reading

Day-to-Night Makeup in Vegas

Day-to-Night Makeup in Vegas

I am long, long overdo for a Vegas trip so in lieu of that I am sharing my day-to-night makeup picks. Whether you like shopping, relaxing, food or nightlife, Las Vegas has everything and I never have a bad time. So when I heard about the Vegas.com makeup challenge I got giddy (and sad because I haven’t been in a while). Here is what I came up with. Continue reading

November Favorites

November Favorites

November is one of my favorite months and what a month it was. I settled into a routine (I moved last month), cozied up my apartment, and spent a lot of time with friends. As for makeup, I wasn’t sure I had any favorites different from last month but I took a look and found a few. Continue reading

P2 Glow Touch Compact Blush Touch of Peony

P2 Glow Touch Compact Blush Touch of Peony

When I was in Germany this summer I picked up two of the P2 Glow Touch Compact Blushes. They had always caught my eye and since P2 tends to change up their product line twice a year I decided to pick up two shades before they were potentially discontinued. Today’s shade is Touch of Peony, probably one of my favorite summer blushes. It may be fall, but I haf to share. Continue reading

Germany Haul | Part 2 | Blush and More Blush

Germany Haul

How about that “Oops!” moment when you find a draft you never scheduled or posted? Better late than never I suppose. If you missed part I of my Germany haul, here it is, even if just to look at pretty pictures of makeup.

I hope you like blush because as the title implies, there is a lot of blush in part two of my Germany haul. In fact, I have been thinking of doing a blush declutter as I am now nearing 40 blushes. Don’t judge… However, I also picked up a few neat pieces that are not blush that I am also very excited about!  Continue reading

Germany Haul (with tons of pictures!)

Germany Hau;

I am back! Or rather I have been back and quite busy. Today I have the first part of my Germany haul, some fun products and some boring products but exciting for me all the same as the German drugstore is where I got my start. Surprisingly I did not buy as much as I thought I would which prompted my boyfriend to ask if I had been taken over by an imposter. Anyway, can’t wait to catch up on everyone’s blog and here we go! Continue reading

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Golden Lights

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Golden Lights

Today I have another highlighter to talk about, and it is another one from Makeup Revolution. This is a quick one as it is another one of their Vivid Baked Highlighters, I reviewed another one here. Although they are the same product in different shades I find them to be quite different, different enough to merit Golden Lights its own post. Continue reading
