I am big fan of Mario Badescu products, so it when I wanted to incorporate vitamin C into my skincare regime I added one from Mario Badescu. This little 1 oz bottle lasted a little over a year and that is plenty of time for me to make up my mind about it, right? Continue reading
If there is a perfect time to write about a product it’s probably when you’ve used it all up. If that is the case then I have some catching up to do… I recently finished a tube of the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti Wrinkle Cream Night and not to give too much away but I don’t see a difference. Not to say that is a bad thing. Continue reading
We have all seen the green clay masks, and we have all heard the pulsating claims. And if you haven’t then here you go. The Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay is a cult beauty favorite that is not sold in stores, not that I know of, that I finally remembered to order from Amazon back in December. I have been using it for over a month and I am now a believer. Continue reading
Two weeks, the last two weeks at the drugstore. In an effort to have more self-control, to save money, and to use more of what I already have, I am cutting back on these posts and trips to the drugstore. Looking at this post I feel that my efforts were somewhat successful but some deals are too good to pass up on!
Happy Friday! I am so, so excited to finally have this post on micellar water up, it is silly how excited I am for this. I am a massive fan of micellar water and never got around to posting this when I was in Germany and didn’t feel right posting it afterward because micellar water was not as readily available here. But it is finally here and I’m doing cartwheels! Continue reading
Not long ago I reviewed a Garnier face scrub and lamented the fact that it is not sold state side. Fortunately, Garnier offers a variety of skin care products here and when I was looking for a new face wash I decided to stick with them and after much deliberating I went with the Clean+ Blackhead Eliminating Scrub. But does it work just as well as its predecessor? Continue reading
Two years ago one of my co-workers started esthetician school and soon after she would not stop talking about the brand Dermologica. I was curious but not interested in a brand that sounded like the next Proactive. Fast forward to about two months ago when I received a Dermologica sample in my Ipsy bag. The Dermologica Clear Start Oil Clearing Matte Moisturizer really piqued my interest in the brand and it’s claims. Continue reading
“If you don’t have a good base, you don’t have a good face!” – Jaclyn Hill
If only you knew how long I have been waiting to use that quote, which admittedly sounds harsh but it was in good fun and true. Face wash is an important part of my daily routine and finding one that suits my needs is not as easy as I wish it was, so when I found this one from Garnier I held on to it until the very last, almost dry drop. Continue reading
I’m currently working on a skin care routine post but first I thought I’d show a product that will definitely not be mentioned in there. It’s not that it’s a bad product but it’s a product that didn’t work for me and made me take a closer look at my daily routine and actually led to my current routine. This is also the product I dropped a hint about in my P2 5 in 1 Protection + Care Base post, so without further ado!
Maybe “Masks and Moscato” would be a more apt blog name given my new and current obsession: face masks. I cannot get enough of these and I would use them every single day if I could. Here are the ones I’m using at the moment with some packaging translations! Continue reading
